Dr. David Samadi Completes An Interview With Ideamensch

Dr. David Samadi is a famous doctor who specializes in urology and prostate surgery. He is currently a surgeon who operates on patients suffering from prostate cancer at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Samadi is a pioneer in the use of robotic surgery to treat prostate related issues. He is currently working on a new robotic surgery technique called the Samadi Modified Advanced Robotic Technique or SMART surgery. The SMART surgery procedure will be more effective than existing prostate surgery procedures that peel of nerves before removing prostates. Dr. David Samadi aims to remove only the prostate with his Samadi Modified Advanced Robotic Technique. His surgical procedure is thus much safer and has much less complications than existing nerve sparing prostate surgery. The nerve sparing prostate surgery can damage nerves in the prostate area.

One of the questions asked of Dr. David Samadi during his Ideamensch interview was how a typical day unfolds for him at work. Dr. Samadi said that he wakes up very early at around 4:30 A.M. and reaches his office by 6 o’clock. The time span between 6 and 7:30 A.M. is very productive for him. Mr. Samadi says that he is up on his feet for the rest of the day.Dr. Samadi revealed that he performs surgeries two to three times a week. During the days that he does perform surgery, he usually performs multiple surgeries. David Samadi also said that before he finally leaves for home, he makes sure to check up on his patients to make sure they are okay and that they understand what they are going through.

The next question asked of Dr. Samadi was how he brings his ideas to life. Dr. David Samadi revealed that he has a photographic memory. This means that he can remember pictures and images in his mind. Given this, Dr. Samadi says that he draws or sketches his ideas or thoughts that appear to him throughout the day or night. Dr. Samadi says that if a great idea pops up into his mind, he will sketch it out or create a diagram. He says that an idea may come and go, but a sketch or drawing will always remain and remind him of his idea.Ideamensch asked Dr. Samadi what is a book he recommends other people check out.
